Any entry with animals must provide their own pooper scooper or you will not be allowed in the parade. No exceptions.
All parade entrants must have illumination (glowsticks, flashlights, holidays lights, etc.).
All parade entrants must have paid entry fee before staging.
Leave plenty of space when moving entries forward during the parade.
There must be an adult observer for each float or motorized entry, and an adult person shall remain with the entry during the entire parade whether children are on it or not. The observer shall be able to communicate directly with the driver. Watch for children at all times. Recommend that no objects, including candy, be thrown from any vehicle, float or trailer. Any unit throwing objects may be removed from the parade. It is permissible to hand candy or other objects to spectators.
No participant shall be allowed to discharge firearms, blanks, or fireworks of any kind.
Vehicles should not be allowed to purposely backfire.
No vulgar or inappropriate actions or words or inappropriate music will be tolerated.
Parade committee is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Every vehicle, motorized equipment, and float may be inspected.
All vehicles are to be driven by licensed drivers who have valid liability insurance.
The parade chairperson will be the final authority if unusual questions or situations arise. The parade chairperson reserves the right for final approval of all entries.
